Master this and you’ll always have a cocktail up your sleeve. Switch out the gin (heaven forbid!) for rum and you have a Daiquiri! Or switch for tequila and you have a Margarita. This style drink date back to as early as 1862 and provides a great base for experimenting.

Ingredients

50ml Dorset Dry Gin
25ml lime
15ml sugar syrup

Method

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, shake with cubed ice and fine strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with lime peel or some seasonal fruit.
