We take our Social Responsibility extremely seriously, and as purveyors of spirits, we are 100% committed to tackling underage drinking, drink driving and responsible alcohol consumption.
Underage drinking
It is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone who is under 18 years of age. If we are in any doubt, we will ask you to provide photo ID (even if you’re attending a tour).
Challenge 25
Challenge 25 is a scheme that encourages anyone who is over 18 but looks under 25 to carry acceptable ID when they want to buy alcohol. This is a scheme we support, and therefore encourage those under 25 to carry ID when attending a tour or buying Conker.
Reducing drink driving
For our distillery tours, we offer alternative alcohol-free drinks for designated drivers. But don’t fret – all drivers get a free bottle of miniature Conker/tonic for a tipple when they get home.
Responsible marketing
All our marketing is aimed exclusively at adults – we have no intention or desire to advertise to underage or irresponsible drinkers.
Please Adore Conker Responsibly
We and the UK Chief Medical Officers recommend adults do not exceed: Men 3-4 units a day; Women 2-3 units a day.
