Conker x RNLI - Spirit of the Sea.

Conker Navy Stength Gin

You’re not supposed to have a favourite child… but when it comes to getting high on our own supply, we think a Conker Navy Strength G&T is hard to beat.

Packed with bold juniper and jammy Seville orange, our Navy Strength Gin is more than just a top-shelf pour — it’s a celebration of coastal life and courageous lives.

And it’s raised £55,000 for the RNLI along the way. That’s the kind of G&T you can feel good about.

Why the RNLI?

We grew up in the sea. Now our kids are rarely out of it.

With the distillery on the Dorset coast, the RNLI has always been close to our hearts. We remember watching the local lifeboat heading out into terrifying seas — crewed entirely by volunteers, fuelled entirely by public donations.

We created this gin to honour those brave souls and the 144,000 lives they’ve saved. For the first three years, we donated £5 from every bottle sold, raising £55,000 for the cause.

A small contribution to a vital service. A big thank you, in a bottle.

Crafting the Navy recipe

This gin had to feel like family — the bolder, wilder brother of our Dorset Dry.

So rather than starting from scratch, we evolved the Dorset Dry Gin recipe to suit the higher strength.  At 57%, the delicacy of Dorset Dry got drowned out. So, we rebalanced it — like tweaking the equaliser on a stereo:

  • More juniper for that classic piney dryness.
  • More Seville orange, samphire and elderberry to bring a herbaceous, jammy sweetness.
  • And gorse flowers? Lovely, but no longer pulling their weight. We benched them. Every ingredient has to earn its place.

The final 9 Botanical Line up….  Juniper, Coriander Seed, Angelica Root, Orris Root, Cassia Bark, Bitter Orange Peel, Lime Peel, Marsh Samphire, Elderberries

What it tastes like.

Bold Juniper woody-spice, paired with zesty Seville orange and a cool, jammy elderberry finish. Conker Navy G&T is rich, indulgent, and seriously moreish.

Serve long with tonic and a fat wheel of orange. Juicy enough to bite into.

Neat, it’s thick, warming, and smooth. Not firewater — just a confident seadog with a soft side.

Aroma – Bold juniper pine and warming spice.

Taste – Big pine, warm spice, herbaceous sweetness and dark berry fruit.

Finish – Long and warming, like its Dorset Dry roots — but bolder.

It's not to be feared.

We know — 57% ABV sounds a bit punchy. But this isn’t for downing neat below deck. Our Navy Strength Gin is built to go long.

More botanicals means more flavour — richer juniper, deeper spice, and sweeter fruit.
That means a single measure of Conker Navy, topped with tonic, gives you all the depth of a double. So you’ll use less per serve, and get more from every bottle.

It’s also why it plays so well in bolder serves. Like the Conker Navy Mule, where it stands up proudly to fiery ginger beer, fresh lime and mint.

Our favourite way to drink it...

NAVY GIN MULE

Ginger Beer and Conker Navy Gin.

Super fresh with a lovely bitter-sweet dance. This has long summer sundowners written all over it.

  • 50ml Conker Navy Gin
  • 150ml Ginger Beer
  • The juice of hald a lime
  • Fresh mint
  • Build in the glass over plenty of Ice

Its 2013. I’m 28 years old. I'd decided to pack in my career to build a business I could pour my heart into. But doing what exactly?! You’re led to believe that ‘Eureka!’ moment will fall into your lap.  But the creative freedom you need for such divine inspiration is more buried than you might think. As kids we throw everything at what gets us excited, without a second thought to failure. How do we lose this freedom as adults? Or more importantly – how do we get it back!
