Gin and Irn-Bru… we are nothing if not sophisticated.

Here is alchemist, David Smith, at The Anchor Inn at Seatown serving up his Irn-Bru 'conkoction', the Irn-Cross. It's a beauty!

Ingredients

  • 35ml Dorset Dry Gin
  • 25ml St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • 25ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15ml Irn-Bru syrup
  • Wheel of orange to garnish

Method

Pour the Dorset Dry Gin, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur and lemon juice into an ice-cold mixing glass, top with ice cubes and stir. Strain into a glass before filling with crushed ice, topping with a wheel of orange and drizzling with Irn-Bru syrup. To make your Irn-bru syrup simply lightly simmer your fizzy pop in a pan until reduced and sticky.
