Sustainable Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur – From bean to renewable fuel

We’re committed to sustainability throughout the entire supply chain and production of our award-winning Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur. From the responsibly sourced, forest grown Speciality coffee beans from Ethiopia and Brazil, right through to our spent coffee converted into coffee fire logs.

Not a single fertilizer or pesticide is used in growing our Grade 1 natural processed coffee beans, while a short supply chain ensures the best price for the farmer. Once the coffee arrives with us it is cold brewed, reducing our carbon emissions when compared to a hot brew.

The used coffee grounds for production of our original and Decaf Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur are transformed with the help of bio-bean into Coffee Logs. These home fire logs burn up to 20% hotter and longer than wood. Which means every espresso-martini you make contributes to producing planet saving bio-fuels. As if we needed another reason to get out the cocktail shaker!

Our partnership with bio-bean helps us support the amazing work they do as the world’s largest recycler of coffee grounds. The UK drinks 95 million cups of coffee every…single…day. 95 million! This creates around 500,000 tonnes of waste grounds destined for landfill, which emit harmful greenhouse gases, including methane. bio-bean transforms coffee waste into various sustainable bio-products. These guys aren’t messing around: they’ve industrialised the process of recycling waste coffee grounds into natural flavours, solid bio-fuels, and raw, bulk material for other product innovations, like bio-plastics.
